Rought day at school Monday

Me and Allison usually go home for lunch because we work pretty close to our house now. Yesterday while eating some leftover pizza, Allison gets a call from the school nurse. Apparently, carson had a "monkey bar incident" where he fell off and did a face-plant into the wood chips below. The nurse checked him out and he was ok except for a little swelling of his lips and his nose. She said he didn't bleed a whole lot. Gosh, I just wanted to run down there and get him and keep him home the rest of the day, how traumatic!

When they got home, he told me about it. He said he was playing with "Brendon" and fell. Brendon helped him and a teacher came over to check on him, then sent him to the nurse. He said it was the same teacher that helped him last week when he lost that tooth. Poor lady, she's had to deal with Carson bleeding twice and there's only been 7 days of school! He was fine though, and we felt so bad for him, that we let him have one of his birthday presents early last night. A batmobile that opens up and shoots rockets and has a batman on a motorcycle that rides out of it. He played with it all night until we had to make him put it up for bathtime. First thing this morning, he got it back out and played with it until I made him put his sketchers on to go to school.

We will see everyone this weekend, looking forward to it.

Well, the first week of school went by great. Both boys are doing just fine. Carson lost his second tooth this week, and got a visit from the tooth fairy. Another $5! WOW! The tooth business must be doing well.

Carson will be turning 7 this Sunday. We already have some fun stuff planned with him. He's having just a small party at his grandparents house this year.

Quick note on the website, I stil have lots of work to do to get it back up with all the pictures from before. I'm also trying to get the older blog entries on here, we'll see how that goes.

The first day of school was just fine

Both of the boys seemed to do just fine on the first day of school. I'm anxious to see how their second day was. I figure Carson will actually do some work today. Yesterday, they just got used to the classroom and stuff. They were so cute this morning going off to school. I should have taken a picture, but in the rush to get ready and out the door, I forgot. I do have a picture of Carson yesterday before we left for SECOND grade! I'll post that when I get a minute. I guess thats sort of becoming a tradition, to take a picture on the first day of class for each grade.

School started today...

Well, the first day of school was today. Carson is now officially a Second Grader. Of course, he was fine this morning, but Daddy doesn't seem to get any better each year. I just worry about him so much. I hate to think about the other kids, older kids, or whatever being mean to him. I remember how elementary school was, and kids can be really mean. Plus, Carson doesn't like school much, he says it's "Boring". He had much rather be playing or fishing or something. I can't blame him for that though. He was actually pretty ok with it this morning and said he was excited to go back.

Carter started back to his daycare/pre-K place today. He is at a different location, but the same company. Pre-K classes do not start unil next week though, so he just gets to play and stuff this week. He already knew a couple of teachers there though, because they moved over from his old daycare.

We had a GREAT summer, and it flew by too quickly. I can't wait to hear about their little days tonight.

Still working on the site

Well, I am still working on restoring the site and the old blog entries. We had thousands of pictures that are being reloaded as well. I didn't like the way the previous photo gallery and slideshows worked, so I'm investigating new ideas.

School starts next week. The boys are NOT ready. Carson is starting second grade and Carter will be in Pre-K. They have had a wonderful summer though.

Keep checking back as I continue to bring the site back up.

Since our website crashed, I've moved the blog to it's own page on carsonboy.net. I'm working on restoring all the old blog entries. Maybe those will show up here before long.

July is here!

We are so happy that July is here! We love summertime so much. We've already had a big time with trips to branson and momma and daddy's trip to Cabo. July is our favorite. Lots of time spent outside playing, swimming at gaga's, riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, etc. WE plan to make the most of it, as school will be starting before we know it. WE are going to go off-roading on the 4th, and shoot some fireworks at gaga's.

Back from CABO!

We are back from CABO and it was a blast. WE have a lot of pictures to share in the "vacations" page. We stayed at the RIU Santa Fe, and we had an awesome view from our balcony of the ocean and the famous CABO SAN LUCAS Arch. We went on a glassbottom boat trip over to lovers beach, went on an atv excursion through the mexican desert and along the Pacific coast, hung out at our resort, and went downtown to check out the night life.

Back from Branson

We are back from Branson. The boys had fun weekend. Silver Dollar City is getting really really old though. They had some fun there, but they don't really like the rides too much. I don't think we are going to go back for a while. They had way more fun at the hotel and the indoor water park. There are a few pictures in the vacations photo gallery. We leave for Cabo San Lucas in 8 days!!!
