Carter is so funny!

All day long, while Carson is at school, Carter likes to mess with his stuff. He sneaks back into Carson's room and plays his DS, or I hear him back there getting Carson's guitar out. It's cute. Yesterday, we picked momma up for lunch and he was a clown the whole time at McAllister's Deli. I snapped this picture of him yesterday. He said he was "Slash" and that Slash stands like this. (They have discovered "Music On Demand" and have watched "Sweet Child O' Mine" over and over)

He may be "Slash", but he still has his little puppy dog everywhere he goes, as evidence in this picture.

What a great weekend!

Carter was at Gaga's all week, and me and Carson checked out at lunch and took off to Greenwood. We only stayed one night, but had a blast. Gaga has brand new baby goats. They were only 1 day old, and the boys had a blast with them. It was warm, so we also got the motorcycle out and rode the 4-wheeler. Here are some of the pictures........

Carson and Carter with the baby goats!

Great week so far!

School started back on Monday. Carson was not pleased. Carter got shipped off to his Gaga's house Monday. He said he "Needed a break from his brother" since they had been fighting so much. I think all week crammed into the house did a job on them. Monday night, we took Carson to eat up at Abuelos and to the promenade. It was like old times. Carson is so good at going places. Carter not so much. We had a good evening. Yesterday, we went to meet our friends Jim and Angela and their son Christian for Taco Tuesday at the Metfield Country Club. We love Taco Tuesday! We had a good time.

Carson has his first guitar lesson tonight, we'll see how that goes. We all miss C-bob already, but he is having a blast at his grandparents house all by himself this week. I am taking Carson there Friday after school.

Rocking Out!

We got all the guitars and the drums out this weekend. The boys really think they are big rock stars! Carter is VERY serious!

Pictures from the ice storm!

Here are a few pictures we took during this big ice storm here in NWA. We lost power yesterday and went to stay at our friends house out by the lake. Matt and Kellie lost power too, but they had 9,000 Watts of generator power. We had lights, heat, food, and the kids even played the Wii all night. It was a lot of fun. Our power came back on this afternoon, and now Matt, Kellie, and their girls are staying with us tonight since they still don't have any electricity. Here are the pictures.....

ICE Storm 2009

We have a lot of ice here in NWA. The kids have no school today and Allison's office is closed, so we are just hanging out hoping the power doesn't go out. I guess if it does, we can go outside and play basketball!

First post of the new year!

I'd like to say that we've just been too busy to update the site lately, but that's not true. I have just been lazy. The boys are doing great! We had a good New Year's. They have been "Rocking Out" with their new instruments and playing the Wii like crazy. We spent the weekend in Greenwood and they had a blast! The weather was great and they got to play outside a lot.

We went with our friends Matt, Kellie, Savannah, and Mary to watch the Lady Razorbacks Gymnastics match the other night at Barnhill. We didn't think the boys would like it, but they actually paid attention and want to go back. We may do that again some time.

There was no school today in Springdale for "Teacher In Service", so I took the boys to see Hotel for Dogs. It was pretty cute. We met momma for lunch too and just had a really good day.

MerrWII Christmas!

We let the boys open their Wii a little early this year. I figured that when Santa brings their drums and guitars that they will be overwhelmed, and I'm sure they will clean up on Christmas Day at their Grandparents. They were really excited and it was fun to watch them. I took a few pictures last night. We will see everyone on Christmas day!
