Beaver lake

The boys were out of school Friday for a teacher in-service day. I took them out to the lake for a little while to play. It was way too windy for fishing and the lake was rough, so we just threw rocks and chased ducks.

Fall is pretty much here....

My Gosh, I am neglecting this site. I update facebook a lot with pics of the boys and stuff. We have been so busy with school stuff, homework, me and Allison both have new jobs, etc. Everything is good though. We just finished a great weekend. Took the boys to Bikes, Blues, and BBQ yesterday. They really liked seeing all the motorcycles and people with weird hair and clothes. We had a picnic afterwards at Agri park for allison's new job. The boys had fun there too. Here are a few pictures...

He said it was the best birthday ever! He had so much fun Saturday. Thanks so much to all his family for coming out and visiting and for all the gifts. His birthday is tomorrow.....8 years old!

The boys are doing well in school

They are bothing doing just fine. Carson is now walking Carter in to his class. Tuesday he cried, and Carson waited at his class with him until the bell rang. No tears today. Carter really likes his teacher, she is so nice. It's hard to get adjusted to school after such an awesome summer!

Carson's birthday is Monday. He'll be 8! We are having a small party for him at his grandparents house in greenwood. Probably the last time we'll get to swim before Dad puts the cover on the pool.

School starts tomorrow!

It has been a great summer, but it all comes to an end tonight. School starts tomorrow. Carter will start Kindergarten and Carson will be in the third grade. I have a feeling that Carter will cry in the morning when Allison leaves him there. But what an awesome summer they have had. I have not updated this much and have so many pictures to upload. The boys spent the last full week of summer with their Grandparents. Their Gaga's finally took them to Texas with the 5th wheel and boat. They camped a couple of nights at Lake Fork and even got to catch some fish. My Dad took pictures but forgot the camera in the boat, so he'll get it the next time they go down there. They also got to spend some time with Nanna and Papa and go shopping with Aunt Bridget for back to school supplies. They even went to a movie with Aunt Mindy and Uncle Dave!

We did so much swimming this summer! Carter sure got good at it, and even learned to dive! We are sad that summer is over, but so thankful that they had such a great one. Those little guys play so hard and get to do so many fun things. I'll try to upload some summer pictures on the main page tonight.

The boys are doing just fine. They are having a great summer. We have been so busy with work, job changes, etc, I have not had the time to update the website. Also, I've been on facebook, which takes time away from this site. The boys are at Grandparents all week and having a blast! It's very quiet around our house.

Carson is now earning his keep!

Carson wanted to mow the lawn, and since my arm still hurts I decided to let him. I mowed the front yard the other day, but the back was getting pretty bad. I showed him how to do it and he mowed the whole back yard by himself. He did a really good job and requested to do it every time now. Finally! I have a lawn boy!

We love summer!

White Water

We had a good time at White Water in Branson. The boys had never been, but had a blast! Carson rode every ride there. Me and Carter rode all but the big slide. We waited for Carson (Carter wasn't tall enough) and he went down it 5 times. Here are a few pictures from their fun day.

FLW Fishing tour

I took the boys to the FLW/Walmart/Beaver Lake fishing tour event in Rogers this weekend. We had fun. They got to play a bunch of games, got some free stuff, saw Dale Jr's racecar and even caught a trout. Carter caught one too, but he kept dropping it so I couldn't get a picture.
